Rich Brenner founded The Brenner Group, Inc.® in 1987, and serves as CEO. The Brenner Group is one of the oldest and largest firms of its type in Silicon Valley, having assisted more than 1,500 companies since its formation. Rich has more than forty years of experience both as a board member and member of management.
Rich serves as a member of the board of directors of several non-profits, including The American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter, Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council of the Boy Scouts of America (Past Chairman of the Board), the Western Region of the Boy Scouts of America (Western Assistant Regional Commissioner), and The Churchill Club (past Chairman of the Board).
Rich also volunteers as a disaster responder for the American Red Cross.
He has also been an active angel investor in and around Silicon Valley for many years. One of these investments is Bridge Capital Holdings (NASDAQ “BBNK”), the parent company of Bridge Bank, where Rich is a founder, Director Emeritus, former member of the Board of Directors and former Chairman of the Audit Committee. Recently, he has focused his Angel Investing in the life sciences sector.
He has worked in general and financial management, and has assisted many emerging companies in the roles of President, General Manager, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He has held executive level positions at Formaster Corporation, Corvus Systems Inc., US Leasing International Inc., ITEL Corporation, National BankAmericard (now VISA) and Autographic Business Forms Inc. He also served as venture capital consultant to Hillman Ventures.
Rich is, or has served, as a board member at Affymax, Inc. (NASDAQ: “AFFY”), e Nicotine, Inc., Sandstone Diagnostics, Inc., PartMiner, Inc. Vida Systems, Inc., Vello Systems, Inc., Abound Logic, Inc., Pavad Medical Systems, Inc. Cardiovention, Inc., Chadmoore Wireless Group (OTC “MOORZ.PK”) and QuickHealth.
He holds a BS in accounting with a minor in management information systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
John Heath, ASA

John joined The Brenner Group® in 1994 and manages the firm’s Valuations and Financial Advisory Services Groups. John has more than thirty-five years of experience in corporate finance, and has assisted more than 600 companies with financing, public underwritings, mergers, acquisitions, and valuations.
John has successfully initiated, managed and closed more than $3 billion in financings and mergers for companies in a broad array of industries. John has also developed and implemented business plans to drive growth in specific geographical and vertical markets.
Prior to joining The Brenner Group, John held executive management positions at Smith Barney, The First National Bank of Chicago, and Price Waterhouse. He received an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of Business, and a BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
John is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force.

Wes joined The Brenner Group® in 2008 and manages the firm’s Finance and Accounting Group as well as Corporate Marketing. Wes brings more than 20 years of general management and operational experience in venture capital backed technology companies, having served as CEO or COO with five early stage companies.
Before joining The Brenner Group, Wes served as President and COO of Nuvoiz, a mobile VoIP applications company. Prior to that, he was President and COO of cFares, a meta-search travel site where he drove the launch of the company including branding, site design, and customer acquisition. Before cFares, Wes held executive management positions at various Silicon Valley software, communications, and data storage firms including Gyration, MadeToOrder, Global Village Communications, Calera and Xidex Dysan Corporation. He began his career at IBM.
Wes holds a B.A. degree from Yale University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
